It reduces sound transmission, and helps to protect the floor against the transfer of stress cracks from the subfloor through to flooring surfaces. It also reduces thermal transmission, making it ideal for use with radiant heat systems. Easy to install in both glue-down and loose lay configurations, it is naturally hypoallergenic, mold and mildew resistant.
